Rocketry Project

Sub-team summary:

The Automatic control sub-team is responsible for the whole design of every automatic control system of the team. Some of the fields of study are trajectory analysis of the rocket, dynamic system modeling, automatic control theory, hardware and software development.

Position description:

The current project in development is an air-brake system. The electronics engineer duties include designing the PCB that controls them, work with the servo mechanism that moves them and develop the code that will finally be uploaded on the PCB.

Preferred Skills and Education:

  • ability to work in a team
  • automatic control theory
  • pcb design
  • familiarity with Matlab and Simulink
