Sub-team Summary:
The Operations sub-team is responsible for managing all of the project’s finances, budget overseeing and re-budgeting, conducting orders, organizing flight operations (transportation, etc.) and many other micro-processes.
Position Description:
An Operations Manager is responsible for:
- Managing and supervising the finances
- Overseeing the budget as well as re-budgeting
- Conducting and monitoring all orders
- Preparation of all bureaucratic procedures for orders made through the University
- Contacting companies to resolve pricing and costing issues
- Organizing flight operations (transporation, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates with a Business Administration, Accounting or Finance background
- Ability to understand general financing and budget, including results, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Ability to provide practical and reliable solutions
- Excellent organizational and communicational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
