A crucial part of the Marketing Department is making ASAT’s activities known to the world, something which is accomplished through our active presence on social media. The social media platforms used by the team are Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, while recently experimentations with videos on TikTok have also started.
The challenge when it comes to social media is finding a balance between providing useful information to the followers and keeping them engaged. It is important to remember that a lot of people are interested in ASAT’s work, even though they do not necessarily have any relative technical background. That’s the reason why the members of the Social Media subsystem, assisted by the members of the Aeronautics and Rocketry Departments, try to present the information in a simple and easy-to-understand way, so that this knowledge can be transmitted. However, our main concern is always posting original content, which means that the truth is always presented to the public regarding the progress of our projects.
